It’s summer in the world of Dutch funk producer Shook and he has clearly been inspired by the warm weather as he has just unveiled his latest collaboration with American singer Pumashock.

‘Summerheat’ is a carefree slice of funk pop perfect for the summer months. Quintessentially it’s a pop song – it sees Shook layer his playful palette of pianos and synths over the sultry vocal courtesy of Pumashock, all backed by chatty tropical disco percussion and a slap bass hook.
