Up until now Mylo had done the definitive remix of Niki & The Dove’s ‘The Gentle Roar‘ – well, new Parisian upstarts Michael Creange & boy/girl duo WEKEED might have someting to say about that as they just given away their remix for free.
Much like Mylo’s, they keep the killer chorus – but that’s where the similarities end. The trio make it their own by adding their own quirky disco touches; especially cool is the jungle book vibes (something fellow Parisians Herr Styler would totally approve off) – add a bit of French flamboyancy, bulbous kicks, off-the-cuff percussion and you’ve got compelling new remix.
