A.N.D.Y & Vicente 'Traffic' EP

We posted the first remix released from A.N.D.Y & Vicente’s debut EP last night, well the good people at DISCOTEXAS have put the whole EP on Soundcloud to stream.

It’s everything we’d want and more from the new poster-boy of disco. A.N.D.Y needs to no introduction, ex-memeber of Mustang and since flying solo every single beat and bar he touches has turned to gold.

Vicente is a more of unknown quantity to us. As far as were aware he’s one of the shadowy figures in the Belgium disco mafia – but other than that we just don’t know.

‘Traffic’ is a probably the most space-y, carefree, production we’ve heard from A.N.D.Y. It still has A.N.D.Y’s trademark synth work, but the track goes for a sound that we’d associate with the Cosmonauts.

‘El Barrio’ is a similar story – if we were to take a guess we’d say the Vicente is behind this soothing disco aesthetic as ‘El Barrio’ is another piece of cushion-soft intergalactic disco. It’s very reminiscent of some of Aeroplane’s early disco. Which is never a bad look.

Now it’s time to inject some funk into this post. Step forth man of the moment Supermen Lovers. G-man shows us why he’s one of our favourite remixers/producers in 2012 – simply sublime.
