When it comes to choosing music for the blog – quite often our mood at the time can play a major part in whether we post something or not.
The thought of listening to a full-on 320 Aoki banger on a Monday morning fills us with utter dread – but today’s Sunday selection is marriage made in heaven – the perfect Sunday musical accompaniement – Expo’s second single ‘Right Here With Me’.
Expo are, if you’ve been paying attention, a new synth group from Belgium – with, according to rumours, a “famous producer” fiddling nobs in the shadows. I know. So exciting.
Well, the second single is a little bit mellower than the last – but it’s still a serene journey of cushion-soft pads, light synths and a fairly decent vocal all presented with a air of unflinching optimism. Perfect Sunday fodder.
