What might well be the last release from Booka Shade’s ‘More’ album ‘Scaramanga’ saw its beatport digital release this week with a plethora of sweet remixes from Dusty Kid, Booka’s own Manga Mix, Hey Today, Reset Robot, Schadenfreude and of course today’s freebie Gainsford.

Their forth album was greeted with widespread praise from fans and press alike, including ourselves, reaching the top 20 in the iTunes chart. Imbued with not only an uncanny understanding of the dancefloor, but a sense of true musicianship, ‘More!’ transcends contemporary club music, placing itself amongst a lineage of classic records.

‘Scaramanga’ more than nods to the plump deep house of the dirty bird dude Claude Von Stroke and is sure to feature in plenty of sets over the coming months. It’s just a well made, not too obvious, deep house cut from the duo who have become superstars over the last 10 years.

Since the release of the album the duo have been busy touring and since the start of the year they have played dates across Australia, New Zealand and Brazil, with a burgeoning DJ and live schedule that is set to continue throughout 2011.
