Salman is the Tokyo based pop duo of Bazz and Kido Yoji. Both have backgrounds in Tokyo’s ever burgeoning electro nightlife but Salman see’s them flirt with a more warm sound, focusing on french-touch.
Influenced by the UK’s Shoegaze scene and mixing it up with the softer side of french-touch, Salman is an exciting and unique prospect for 2011.
Their first single ‘When The Sun Rises’ has already recieved praise from The Japan Times and has been remixed by young-up -and-comer Blue Satellite, who we featured a couple of weeks back, he’s added some laidback summer grooves to the proceedings and it now sounds like some excellent cushion-soft french-touch.
