D.O.D Remixes Marvin Gaye's "Aint No Mountain High Enough"

D.O.D is an abreviation that you’re going to be coming across in 2011, at only 22 he got a 2-page spread in Mixmag and had his Marvin Gaye remix tipped as an early track for WMC and Ibiza – we know it’s still winter, but it’s all true.

His sound is full-fat electro house with elements of Techno, Electro, Breaks, Drum & Bass, Dubstep, Hip-Hop and Indie thrown in for good measure. We’ve listened to one of his mixes and it’s a dead-ringer the sort of sets 2 Many DJ’s deploy so effectively.

He’s a dab hand on 4 CDJ”s too – his style of DJing can only be described as ‘Jump-Up Electro with the Unexpected’ with the talent to showcase his performances using 3-4 CDJ’S, DJM800 an EFX1000/Kaoss Pad 3 to create his unique sounds. His main room edits have been taking clubs by storm, giving a large majority of his tracks that little something different, making every set unique.

Keep an eye out for this rising star, as we certainly will. He’s giving away the 320 of his remix of the classic Marvin Gaye track “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” – he’s taken the original down a dark french back-alley, to perform some surgery, chopping and slicing it into some proper party fodder.
