Sassy synth lover OhLand just sent over her new track, now we haven’t heard of her before, but we can’t be expected to know about everyone, but anything that has been remixed by the legend Yuksek automatically gets posted. Period.

“Sun of a Gun” is taken from her forthcoming EP on Epic Records in the US. It’s a fine piece of  happy cinemtic electropop, not my words, but we really like it. Bit like Zarif with a smidge of Bjork for good measure.

Apart from that we know nothing or we can’t be bother to read her Myspace. We did really, but look how long her bio piece is. She was discovered by fellow Dane, Kasper Bjork, who has been compared to Trentemoller. But happier. Beatportal even when as far as saying: “Kasper Bjørke could become one of the year’s biggest indie-dance crossover success stories. Keep an eye on him”. Well, you can’t get a better ringing endorsement than that.

Enjoy.

On to the remix, they roped in the help of one of our favourite French producers Yuksek, I’m not in the mood for a history lesson, but if by some how you’re not familiar – go and grab his Yuksek Fragments mix he did for us a few months ago and be prepared to fall in love with him, his remixes,  his remix of Sun of a Gun. Oh and of course OhLand. Bloody Brilliant.
