Mary Epworth is getting plenty of blog attention at the moment, not only is she a really compelling singer songwriter, but who ever is choosing the remixers for her music is doing a sterling job – there’s not been one bad one.
Today’s latest effort come from Micheal & Mattis – who pretty much do-away with the vocal and create a effects-driven piece of barron house – admittedly the description doesn’t sound all that enticing, but somehow with lashings of deep sub-bass it works from start to finish. The vocal effects are particularly jarringly brilliant.
Mary’s debut album ‘Dream Life’ is dropping June 18 through Hand Of Glory/ADA.
