Korg has announced that it will be bringing a music making game to Nintendo’s widely successful Switch handheld in 2018.
Details are still a bit thin on the ground but it would appear the game has been made alongside Detune, a software company.
It’s officially called Korg Gadget for Nintendo Switch, and the company exhibited the software in Japan recently.
From the videos below, it would appear that Korg Gadget is a fully fledge DAW that can be controlled via the handheld’s Joy-Con motion sensors and includes multiplayer for up to four players.
It’s not the first time that Korg has brought its hugely popular music-making tools to a Nintendo device, the company has previously released its Korg M1 synthesiser for the Nintendo 3DS a few years ago.
