‘3am is the first track to be unveiled from Exploited’s semi-regular mini compilation series where Shir Khan brings together a highly eclectic quintet of new cuts from the label’s roster to showcase.

The work of Athlete Whippet, which consists of Squareglass co-founders Aviram Barath and Robin Paul Braum, the duo has already carved out a name for themselves with 2016’s ‘Complain’, which caught the ear of Scuba, Bicep and Laurent Garnier because of its clever blend of haze and hysteria.

Their latest does indeed continue the duo’s relatively hazy aestetic but there’s also just enough rasp underneath to keep things nice and spritely through to the end.

We’ll be keeping an ear on Athlete Whippet and you should, too.
