We’ve enjoyed everything we’ve heard from Nova Black thus far. Admittedly, we’ve only heard one track from the up-and-coming UK duo, but their latest — a schizophrenic bootleg remix of Flume’s ‘Holdin On’ — showcases the duo’s talents in spades once again.
Flipping the original into a jangling cacophony of vocal chops, neon melodies and rat-a-tat rhythms, the Liverpool-based duo do an excellent job of making Flume’s original their own.
