Nite Rite 8 sees the Dutch producer on imperious form, and it begins with a clever bate and switch as a twinkling disco intro makes way for a bulging, solitary bassline and goulish vocal sample which is then brought to the boil against caustic synth stabs, in fact – the whole thing has a strong Halloween vibe going on, which is ideal considering it’s almost Halloween.
