Lois Plugged and Fruckie dropped a new EP last week on Boxon Records. The 5 track EP features some collaborative talent in the form of Major and Transformer Di Roboter, but it’s the pair’s solo effort ‘Spleen‘ that’s really worth talking about.

A solid plodding beat coupled with a really well thought out sound palette provide a track reminiscent of Tron era Daft Punk, albeit with a playful top-line. A beautiful low-key breakdown adds an introspective hint to proceedings, and gives the song scope to build and meander nicely.

The Burn Alive EP is available via iTunes now
