Freeform Five returns for his second outing on Eskimo Records with his latest creation ‘Leviathan‘, which features the vocals delights of Roisin Murphy.

Having taken a self-imposed hiatus over the last few years, Freeform Five, aka Anu Pillai, has exploded back onto the scene with a selection of impressive remixes (Holy Models & Golden Bug) and fresh originals on Exploited Recs and Eskimo over the last 12 months.

His latest, ‘Leviathan‘, sees Pillai on assured form as he crafts a solid slice of feel-good house music. It’s still retains much of Freeforms famed complexity, though, especially on the his own “reform” b-side, which takes ‘Leviathan‘ from shuffling tribal house to a more intense progressive take.

Remixes-wise there’s plenty to choose from, but the one that sticks out the most for us is from HBF regular Compuphonic, who caught almost everyone’s ear last year with excellent debut single ‘Sunset‘.

The young Belgian does what he does best: cinematic house, though for this particular remix the Belgian goes for a playful, textured assusalt on the senses adding a solid bounce to proceedings – but don’t be fooled it still pumps like it should. Check out an exclusive premiere of the remix below.

release date: 10th of February 2014
