Du Tonc have unveiled their first song of 2014 and it’s quite and interesting one: a cover of Bruce Springsteen’s ‘I’m On Fire’, which you can download for free.
The cover was born during a drive through Arizona when the song came on the radio. It was at that moment the two Matts realised they shared a mutual love of Bruce Springsteen and so the idea for the cover was born.
The cover continues the duos lo-fi roots as Matt Van Schie croons the original’s vocal over skittish percussion and erie synths courtesy of Mighty Mouse.
