Pyramid’s solo debut EP ‘Phoenix’ will be released on February 3 via Paris’ chicest label, Kitsune, and now you can listen to the menacing ‘Astral‘ below.
‘Astral‘ sees the Lyon-based producer on fine form as he takes inspiration from the 2007 electro-clash vogue pioneered by fellow Galic noise makers Justice.
Pyramid, for us, is at his best when making electro and for ‘Astral’, the producer weaves a caustic tapestry of saw wave synths, blunted drums and glassy chords – it’s so memorising you’d be forgiven for taking a quick breather after each listen.
