Our favourite French label La Belle returns with a new single from FK Club, and you’re going to be hearing a lot of it as ‘The Strange Art‘ features in Grand Theft Auto 5, via Soulwax’s in-game radio station.

The song is a greasy cut of indie electronica that sits somewhere between Soulwax and Blackstrobe – yes, it’s that good. FK Club is the alias of Marc Lapeyre, but apart from that choice nugget of context we don’t know a lot about him – but to be honest that’s just La Belle’s style.

The single comes with three impressive remixes from Nassers, who delivers a dastardly dark remix that’s easily the pick of the bunch for us; Richard Sen, who offers a jittery cosmic disco interpretation which is caked in effects; In Flagranti, not unsurprisingly create a no-nonsense rolling acid remix; whilst, DJ Steef unloads a subterranean disco version, which is probably the dark horse of the bunch next to Nassers blistering effort.
