It has been three years since the release of Grum’s well-recieved debut album ‘Heartbeats‘ which took the Scottish producer from zero to hero with his flamboyant take in fun-time disco.

Fast forward to 2013 and the Scottish producer surprised many, including us, when he returned with a more underground house sound with ‘Everytime‘.

The second single to be taken from Grum’s new album sees the producer take inspiration from Simple Minds’ classic ‘Themes For Great Cities’. Grum’s version, however, is a soaring house track that blends elements of progressive house and trance for a spell-binding track that offers just a glimpse into one of the most eagerly anticipated albums of the year.

You can exclusively stream the DJ edit of ‘The Theme’ below.

Out now via Beatport with remixes from Russ Chimes, Daniel Trim and Those Beats.
