Striking whilst the iron is hot, Du Tonc have just unveiled their third single, ‘Rise’. Now we’ll spare you the histrionics of the Mighty Mouse/Matt Van Schie collaboration only to say it’s been a bit of a runaway success.
Their latest is a probably the darkest of the three tracks, with plenty of oddball percussion, a wolf howling (seriously) and plenty of Schie’s raspy robotic vocals, which aren’t really there to add melody but rather a bit of character.
