One production duo who have been incredibly quiet in 2012 is Villa – well, this ends today as they’ve got a new remix out and it’s for Ladyhawke’s new single ‘Sunday Drive’.

It’s clear that Villa have move their trademark sound on a bit from last year; it’s less tropical, less disco, yet more powerful. It’s all here: unique vocals, rugged off-beat drums and when you do finally reach the breakdown you’re hit with cacophony of effects-laden synth lines, imposing strings and a plenty of filtered basslines.
