Manchester band The Whip are quickly becoming the latest buzz-band of the moment – and part of this rising star in the blogosphere are some excellent remixes. We’ve had the ridiculously good Alex Metric remix and now Blue Satellite is in the hot seat.
Does his effort reach for the stars or crash and burn on re-entry ? Well it’s definitely not the latter.
To be honest we were taken by complete surprise with the direction Mr Satellite has taken it – part indie dance/part electro banger – he also manages a tip of the hat to the current trend of dubstep. Let’s be clear it isn’t full stupid wobble bass and the sounds of Transformers….well transforming – it’s sounds strikingly similar to Feed Me – and this is certainly a good thing.
