James Jacob is not the heir to the Jacobs cracker dynasty, it’s the moniker of Jakwob, the got-to-guy when it comes to injecting some classy dubstep into a track – he’s had numerous amazing remixes over the last year and his debut album “Moving Parts” is being prepped for an April release.
With dubstep making the national news this week with the abomination that is Britney’s new “supposedly dubstep” track “Hold It Against Me” we thought we’d jump to the defence of dubstep.
First of all, it is not even dubstep and secondly it has nothing to do with Rusko despite rumours flying around the interwebs.
But we want to show you that there are plenty of good things to come out of dubstep, and Jakwob is certainly one of them.
He’s just uploaded his first mixtape called “Jakwob Smoker Delight” – and we’ve picked another of his tracks just to prove our point.
