Villa in their current incarnation have existed since late 2010, when Thang Tran Tung drafted Francois De Meyer in to help him out with a remix he was working on for Digitalism.

Villa are now a duo, having had more changes than Kraftwerk, one of the original members Fredo has decided to take a step back and concentrate on family life, Seba who is now Moonlight Matters left last year to start up his Moonlight Matters moniker. Now we are left with new member Francois and Thang who is the only original remaining member.
