Mondkopf seems to have appeared from nowhere. The 24-year-old producer of dark and twisted french techno has already got Busy P declaring his new album as one the best he has heard in 2011 – so it only seems fitting that the dudes over a Oki-ni got him to do a mix.

This week from Oki-ni mix series we have Bjujeria by Jahcoozi. Compiled and mixed by Robot Koch, Jahcoozi’s Berlin beat-maker, BRUJERIA is a mix of Jahcooz’s influences blended with a few of Robot Koch’s childhood favourites. As a result, James Blake, Jamie XX and Mount Kimbie meet John Coltrane, possibly for the first time ever.
Alan Braxe’s own imprint Vulture Music are in the midst of an exciting new mix series, similar in a way to our 20-minute-wonders, but obviously way better, they are commissioning a series of mixes that are 20 minutes long.
The man behind the record labels Simple Records and Aus Music, the eclectic Will Saul muddies the water between techno, dubstep, various forms of house, and a list of other genres too numerous to mention. Innovating and exciting, Will is a shining light in contemporary electronic music.
