SebastiAn’s album ‘Total was a complete success – we think it’s one of the best we’ve heard this year – and all he needs to do now an incredible tour a la ‘Across The Universe’ and a live CD and he’ll have fulfilled his true potential.

To celebrate the release of SebastiAn’s debut album ‘Total,’ which came out worldwide today, Ed Rec are giving away the classic club cut ‘Organia’ from Seb’s back-catalogue for free.
SebastiAn’s album is incredibly hard to classify into one particular genre, known as the dark horse of the Ed Banger family, he has been waiting in the wings for what seems like ages, but now he’s ready to take the limelight – it has been a long in coming, but oh boy was it worth the wait.
SebastiAn’s new album ‘Total’ is dropping very soon, and his latest track premiered on Annie Mac’s show last night, and it’s another curve ball from the Seb, not the usual banger, but another funk-induced 2-step Prince homage – we love it and think his album is going to even better than we originally thought. We’ll be getting a copy any day now and were counting down the days.
So the world is going Ed Banger crazy, and this is because Justice and SebastiAn both had tracks out today, Justice with their rock/electro anthem ‘Civilization’ and Kavinsky’s remix of SebastiAn’s debut single ‘Embody’.
SebastiAn’s new single is amazing, and it’s probably going to be ever better. We’ve just heard a sneak peak of the Kavinksy remix. Check out 30 seconds after the jump.

SebastiAn’s first single from his debut album ‘Total’ is coming out April 4, and we’ve got the video, it’s not the banger we were all probably expecting. It’s better. A mesmerising piece of slow twisted disco a la Justice style, throw in a vocal that sounds very similar to Cassius’s ‘I Love U So,’ and you’ve got something complex, enticing, and just so off the wall, it maybe shouldn’t work, but it just does.
While everyone, including us, has been going Justice crazy, let’s not forget SebastiAn, it does seem rather odd that after years of waiting Ed Banger Records has decided to dropped the Justice bomb right in the middle of what should SebastiAn’s big push for his debut album.
For us, music is the least disagreeable of all noises – unless you are SebastiAn.
The Ed Banger boys are back in town with an all new compilation, called Let The Children Techno, and it marks a return to form for the infamous French label – yes we know it’s a terrible name – and some what confusing, as we were dreading a CD full of techno.
