Goldroom hits another home run with a new remix for The Knocks’ ‘Modern Hearts’, the original sees the New York duo of Ben “B-Roc” Ruttner and James “JPatt” Patterson team-up with St Lucia on vocals.

Goldroom’s star continues to rise with his latest slice of doughy disco, ‘Only You Can Show Me’, featuring the vocal delights of Mereki. The song is a combination of rhythmical tropical disco spliced with big-room trance leads for an eventual breakdown that is sure to get any dancefloor hugging and embracing like it’s their last dance.
Charlie XCX’s star continues to rise with her latest piece of leftfield pop ‘You (HA HA HA)’. Taken from her forthcoming debut album the new single has been given the once over by disco man Lindstrom, and while it’s not his usual flamboyant output, those of you who loved his Lana Del Rey remix will be right at home with his less is more approach to the remix.
Vancouver-based producer Pat Lok has turned Goldroom’s latest single ‘Sweetness Alive’ into a piano house stomper. It’s jam-packed full of off-the-cuff samples, bubbling basslines and just enough of the original’s vocal to give that all important pop edge.
We’ve never actually posted a Goldroom track before – for us some of his output has been a bit, dare we say it: too tropical – it’s probably a cultural thing. He’s from the coast, where it’s warm and carefree – we, on the other hand, are slap-bang in the heart of the old industrial heartland: a grey, bleak existence – to say the two are diametrically opposing worlds would be an understatement.
