If you can remember a time when post-dubstep was actually meant to be a thing, then you’ll probably remember Bodi Bill, a trio from Berlin, who had quite a bit of success in their native country with a couple of well recieved albums.

Bodi Bill are criminally overlooked in the UK, but in their native Germany they’re going from strength to strength, the German three piece combine folk music, dubstep and techno to form a musical style that can’t really be compared to any other band we know of. They have just released their latest EP ‘What’.
Bodi Bill are to release the second single of their amazing new album ‘Hotel’ – their new tracks blurs the lines between indie, folk and electronic music in a way that that has never been done before – this track shows off what Bodi Bill are all about. It is pure bliss.
Bodi Bill’s last album ‘Two In One’ was a real surprise package it managed to capture the best of a new underground post dubstep movement whilst marrying luscious vocals and indie sensibilites that we’ve yet to come across anywhere else.
Bodi Bill are back with a new album called ‘What!,’ we for one can’t wait to hear more – it has now officially dropped in their native Germany on Sinbus, with the first single ‘Brand New Carpet’ out March 18. We’ve had a look in the UK iTunes and it’s not there for us, but will be if you happen to live in Germany.

Every conceivable type of music that we’ve loved over 2010 – singles vs albums, mixtapes vs bootlegs; anything goes. Oh and we’ll do 20. Who wants ten anyway ? That’s not even one a month. Stick with us for the best of the year. And there won’t be any running order that would be cruel and elitist. Click the links for a present from the artist. As with all presents you never no what you going to get. They’re all good though.
We absolutely raved about Bodi Bill’s album “Two In One“ and if you didn’t grab yourself a copy you really should, or better still see them in London soon, they’re playing a one-off show at The Garage on Saturday December 4 with fellow label mates, Hundreds. It’s their first ever UK show too. They make [...]
German 3-piece Bodi Bill are giving away their Siriusmo remix of their track ‘Tip Toe Walk’, which is taken of their forthcoming single, ‘I Like Holden Caulfield’, and they have a rather nifty video as well. Bodi Bill make indie-punk cross over electronic music, which we have been struggling to pigeon hole, but that’s probably [...]
