If you’ve been reading this blog, or any of the other great blogs out there, then you’ll have probably come across the French electro up-start Monsieur Adi. To say Adi is prolific would be an understatement. He’s always making remixes, re-edits, and originals. Well, this week saw the release of his ‘Fire Fire Fire’ EP.
There haven’t been many decent remixes to come out of Justice’s controversial new direction – a lot of fans seem to be raving about Erol’s remix – but for us it’s mediocre at best.
We’ve already introduced you to the delights of singer song-writer Fallulah, with an amazing remix of her last track ‘I Lay Me Head’ by the funk king Shook, well it’s time for the rising-star of french electro Monsieur Adi to have a stab at remixing this compelling Danish talent.
It was always going to be a tall order for Adi to try and top last months epic ‘Fire, Fire, Fire’. But, you know what. He’s only gone and bloody well done it with his new track ‘Blood’ this is every bit as good as his last.
If Justice’s new 80′s rock-vogue is missing a certain je ne sais quoi then let us point you in the direction of Monsieur Adi a fellow Parisian who is about to release his new EP ‘Fire, Fire, Fire’ on Monday.
Monsieur Adi has got some new material dropping soon, we come across this chap before over at TMS, but it is the first time we’ve featured him on HBF, he’s a label owner and producer and has been likened to Daft Punk and Justice, only really because he makes french electro and everything in between.
