Ahead of his debut album – ‘Universes’, which is out next month via Ninjatune – soul controller Seven Davis Jr has unveiled a new collaboration alongside Julio Bashmore.
The aptly named ‘Good Times’ sees Bashmore & Jr put the fun, and funk, back in house music with kickin’ licks of melody and poppin’ drums. Proof, then, that all you really need is a chopped-up disco loop and a killer hook.
