Like a fine French wine, Etienne de Crécy only gets better with age, proof of which can be heard on his new EP, ‘After’.

Apparently, ‘After’ EP1 is the first in a new series of EPs from the legendary French producer who was behind seminal French touch album ‘Superdiscount’.

The Frenchman’s new EP includes two tracks, the first of which is called ‘Hours’. It’s a snarling slice of smouldering progressive house that features plenty of hands-in-the-air hooks and a  gravelly basslines to groove to.

‘Math’ is a different beast entirely, and instead sees de Crécy despatching a rubbery salvo of electro house that might well be the best electro house track we’ve heard in, like, 10 years.

More of this, please.
