Aphex has unveiled a brand-new track which he has made exclusively using Korg hardware to celebrate famed Korg engineer and synth guru Tatsuya Takahashi for a recent interview.

Richard D. James also spoke at length with the Japanese synth pioneer for an in-depth interview, which is well worth checking out if into your nerdy synth talk.

For us, the track is much more entertaining as it sees James deliver an elastic cut of electro that’s been made on number of piece of Korg hardware — including Korg’s Monologue x3, MS-20 kit, Poly-61M, Volca keys, Volca beats, Volca sample, Minilogue and for a little human touch, the track also features the secretive producer’s son on vocals, too.

Check the producer’s ‘Korg Funk 5’ below, and read the interview here.
