MOTSA’s music has been likened to that of Four Tet and Caribou in recent months, his latest ‘Petrichor’ is both colourful and imaginative as he blends clever percussion lines, which fall somewhere between two-step and four-four, with fuzzy melodies that are both joyous and textured, and then Sophie Lindinger’s etheral vocals wash over the whole track and act as the perfect counter to the track’s cluttered timbre.

Simply stunning.
