An artist at the forefront of the incredible electronic music talent emerging from the land down under, Xavier Dunn rightfully caught my attention with his new single ‘Straight On Till Morning’.
The Sydney-based triple threat (singer-songwriter-producer) has been busy as of late, coming off a national tour supporting BROODS, recently playing VIVID Festival alongside Zhu, Basenji, and more, and guest performing for Feki at Splendor in The Grass.
The Australian’s latest is a masterful display of creativity and class, blending heartfelt lyrics and vocals with elements of varying genres like pop, indie, and R&B into one cohesive work of art. It’s beautifully intricate but there’s also sentimental meaning beneath the stellar production.
“SOTM is about the colour we left behind when we grew into “adults”, we shouldn’t forget the magic we felt when we saw things for the very first time,” he says.
Dunn seeks to transport his fans to a special place, bringing to life distinct memories and forgone thoughts. With his latest release tugging the heartstrings of fans all over, Xavier Dunn’s star looks to be on a meteoric rise.
