Vitalic returns with his first piece of original music since 2012 when the producer released his most commercial-sounding long-play, ‘Rave Age’.
Since then he’s produced the soundtrack for a film, namely The Legend of Kaspar Hauser, and after that he’s been pretty quiet working on new material for what will hopefully be a fourth album.
Today the legendary French producer revealed a brand-new track via the good folks at Ransomenote and it’s quite a statement of intent from Pacsal Arbez.
As mad as a box of frogs, ‘Oouey’ cleaely doesn’t take it self too seriously judging by the vocal as a teletubbie-like character sings “ooey ooey ooey ooey ooey ooey ooey ooey ooey ooey ooey ooey ooey oooooooo” – but, and more crucially, scratch a little deeper and there lies the heart of a club weapon – but only if you’ve got the temerity to actually play it out.
More of this please.
