Alex Metric ups the ante for the second track to be unveiled from the Londoner’s forthcoming ‘Ammunition 4’ EP.
Whilst ‘Drum Machine’ was a stripped back club weapon using only a drum machine, a vocalist and no synths, ‘Always There’ is the the polar opposite; it’s positively dripping with goey melodies, sickly vocals pitched both ways, and plenty of disco sparkle – it’s easily one of his best tracks to date.
‘Ammunition 4’ is out tomorrow, and you can catch Metric on tour in the US alongside Zedd now.
