We’ve been impressed with everything Icarus have released so far, and their latest is probably their most outlandish track so far.
Whilst their first two tracks – ‘Gold’ and ‘Cassia’ – have all been fairly restrained, their latest, ‘Ride This Train’, is dripping with big-room sensibilities.
But that doesn’t mean it’s cookie cutter output from the duo – no, no. The production prowess on show is even more impressive than the previous work, as bulbous brass sections swamp the smooth as chocolate vocal courtesy of Aniff Akinola.
It’s intoxicating stuff from the Bristol-based production duo and proves once again that they’re more than just a one-trick pony.
