London-based producer Earl Grey returns with a new EP of pulsating acid via New York-based HAKT Recordings.

Earl Grey is of course the acid-facing moniker are Danny Ashenden, who is also one half of London-based disco duo The C90s.

The lead track ‘Anytime’ is 8-minutes of full-fat acid that twists and turns like all good acid should, as it rides along a complex groove of scattered hats, bleeping melodies and pulsating basslines.

‘Arabian Nights’ offers something a little different; occupying a slower groove the melodies and complex bass hooks are given more time to breathe and for our money is arguably the stronger of the two.

Out now.
