Fono is a young Brighton-based DJ who holds residencies at Audio and Treatment, and by the quality of his debut track, ‘Real Joy’, he’s a bit of a dab hand at production too.

The main selling point of ‘Real Joy’ is that twisting steely synth line that you won’t be forgetting in a hurry – but there’s more; couple that with an accessible vocal and plenty of rumbling sub bass, and you’ve got a winning combination. Having already picked up support from Skream, Zinc, Redlight and Lxury, ‘Real Joy’ is likely to be a future festival anthem in the weeks and months to come.
