Marcus Marr returns to DFA Records with a new single dubbed ‘Brown Sauce‘ – and much like the brown stuff you’ll either love it or hate it.

Or, if you’re like us, you’ll hate the sauce but love the EP – the title track is the pick-of-the-bunch as Marr treats you to a heady combination of throbbing, rubbery acid with a sprinkle of disco for good measure.

‘Peacemaker‘, the b-side, treads a similar path in that it’s also sparse and stripped back – but that just allows you to really hone-in and enjoy its constituent parts; the thick disco bassline, the clickety snares, the undulating melodies.

And if you’ve never tried Brown Sauce you really should as it’s a British institution.
