Warp Records has unveiled a track from Aphex Twin’s hotly-anticipated album, ‘Syro‘. ‘Minipops 67‘ has actually been around since 2011 when Richard D. James played it at a show in Singapore, and has often been referred to as “the Manchester track” by his fans.

As you’d expect from a Aphex Twin track, it’s quite a challenging listen at first – but once you get past that there are some really clever melodies underpinning the skittish percussion, and synthetic vocals.

Apparently if you’ve pre-ordered via Bleep or iTunes you can download the track now.
