Alex Metric and Oliver’s new collaboration, ‘Hope‘ had its premiere on Friday night via Annie Mac’s show and is the first taste from Metric’s latest EP which is set to drop April 21 via OSWLA.

Metric’s EPs usually include a variety of genres and it’s clear from our first listen that ‘Hope‘ falls squarely into the rave/house bracket.

“It originally started out as a reworking of an old ‘90s house record,” explains Metric. “Myself and Vaughn [Oliver] from Oliver did it purely as something to play in our sets. But the reaction turned out so good we thought we should properly release it. Samples were cleared, and here we are!”
