Mysterious German producer Claptone has just released his new 2-track EP ‘Ghost’ with vocals from indie frontman Alec Ounsworth of Clap Your Hands Say Yeah fame.

The first release of the year on Berlin deep House imprint Exploited, ‘Ghost’ certainly lives up to its supernatural name. The EP’s title track is a perfect slice of dark, hypotonic house, conjuring up the signature ‘spooky’ vibe we first experienced on Claptone’s ‘Night on Fire’ EP.

Second track, ‘2 United’ is the more upbeat of the two and no doubt set to become a commercial club favourite. It’s a crowd-pleasing piano jam that packs just the right amount of punch.

Already clocking up multiple plays on BBC Radio 1 and support from Tensnake, Huxley and The Magician, Claptone continues to do what he does best; chart topping house music from behind a mask.
