In case you hadn’t noticed the remixes for Blende’s stupendous new single ‘Rikki‘ are out today, so we thought we’d do a quick recap of the other ones, namely from Moonlight Matters’.

Having been quiet for most of 2013, the ex-Villa producer showcases why he’s one to be keeping an ear out for in the coming months as it sounds like he’s probably got a load of new material ready to drop. What makes Sebastiaan Vandevoorde stand apart from almost any other disco producer is his raspy style – and this remix is Moonlight Matters back to his frenzied best.

There are of course other remixes, with each producer choosing to either speed up or slow the vocals, for Phonat’s he speeds it up and it kinda works, though it’s kinda flying pretty close to Phats & Small; Le Crayon goes the other way slowing it down to ketamine-induced dribble, but to be fair his remix is all about the tropical vibes; and finally French Horn Rebellion go for an big nu-disco remix, which might actually be the dark horse of the bunch, due to its clever complexity.
