Australian disco duo The Swiss have just released their latest EP on the oh-so-chic label Kitsuné, ‘Elousisa’ consists of two plucky pieces of authentic fun-time disco that almost certainly can’t be taken seriously.
The title track, ‘Elouisa’, is a toe-tapping piece of over-the-top disco that could easily be mistaken for The Scissor Sisters, but there’s plenty to like about their rendition including catchy riffs and heady keys.
The b-side, ‘Peach Pit’, is less camp-tastic and a much easier track to decipher, set against twangin’ guitars and never-ending glam riffs.
The Swiss’ ‘Elouisa’ EP, is flanked with two remixes by Late Nite Tuff Guy and Villa and is out now via Kitsuné.
