Mylo Returns With Robyn Remix

Scottish electro man Mylo is meant to have a new album out soon – but we are still waiting, maybe he has gone mental again.

But he managed to remix a new track from Swedish singer Robyn – Don’t Fucking Tell Me What To Do – and it’s certainly a welcomed return to form.

Squelch-tastic bass, 80′s synths and snappy beats – just the way we like it. Now come on Mylo take a punt and get your album out. We know it’s not going to be as good as Destroy Rock & Roll – but would anything?

Body Talk Pt. 1′s, opening track Don’t Fucking Tell Me What To Do sees Robyn sardonically running through a check-list of guilt-inducing vices- ‘My drinking is killing me, my smoking is killing me’ against a propulsive, glitchy backbeat. It’s half manifesto of what the singer represents and half slacker rant.

‘It’s like everyone wants you to be perfect and you’re dreaming of a world where you can do what you want. I guess it´s about the modern world and the stress I think most people in it feel sometimes. It´s a pretentious message so I tried to make it as simple as I could. I´m talking about how I felt when I came off my tour” she explains.
