Nowhere have just announced a new house night for Manchester club Area 51 – they are promising a quality night of music without the fuss of headliners and are trying plug the gap between underground and commercial club nights.
Area 51 will celebrate their 2nd birthday in March and club owner Tony Ratcliffe has put his hands in his pocket and improved the look of the club; featuring improved seating, smarter decor, mood lighting and some rather chic seating booths.
If it all gets a bit too much on the night, you can slope-off to The Bar, where groovier, nu-disco beats will percolate for your listening pleasure.
So, if you are looking for a place to dance in Manchester, that doesn’t take it self too seriously – NoWhere & Area51 are definitely worth a shout.
Saturdays at A51, Manchester 10.30pm – 7am
