Solomun 'Living On' Charity Compilation

With all the po-faced headlines about the current state of EDM (haha) it’s good to see there’s still some life in the ol’ girl yet. Solomun has uploaded a new original track ‘Living On’, the track is part of 2CD of charity compilation that celebrates 5 years of his Hamburg-based label Diynamic.

All the money raised from the compilation will go to Kinderhospiz Sternenbrücke, a Hamburg-based charity which helps terminally ill children in the last months of their lives – they’re currently raising money so they can build a music-therapy room.

The tracklisting for the compilation reads like a who’s who of house talent – you got exclusive tracks from Solomun, Stimming, David August, H.O.S.H., UNER, Ost & Kjex DJ Phono, Adriatique, Thyladomid, Hunter/Game and Liem.

On the second CD you got a host of guest spots including: Hot Chip, Digitalism, Cassius, WhoMadeWho and many more have taken part to try and raise as much money as possible.

Solomon said about the release: “We always had the idea to do something special for our 5 years compilation and that it had to be a charity cd to give something back. We are very thankful about how everything is running and when we heard about the kinderhospiz in hamburg we know immediately that is the right one we are looking for and we decided to spend the money we earned with the project.”

The compilation is out July 16.
