We’ve been hearing rumours that one half of Belgium disco duo Mustang had started a new moniker, and it’s true, Renaud Deru has indeed started a new solo guise ATTAR, but, thankfully we’re almost certain that Mustang will still make music.

ATTAR’s first piece of output is for the latest Discotexas release from melodic synth pop group Appaloosa, and comes with a load remixes from Kamp!, Douze and Mirror People.

ATTAR’s remix is less shiny-happy-disco and more house meets the 80’s synth-pop – it’s full of lovely analogue basslines, cushion-soft keys, big kicks and looped vocals.
