Golden beak-wearing house producer Claptone has unveiled the first single to be taken from his forthcoming debut album.

‘Dear Life’ sees the producer rekindle his partnership with dOP vocalist Jaw for a bittersweet slice of shuffling house, that focusses more on the song-writing rather than the sound design, but it’s actually the b-side ‘Secret Lover’, also featuring Jaw, which has peaked our interest the most. It’s a soulful cut of raw funk masquerader as a house track that has got us very excited to hear the German’s debut album this autumn.
